AWANA in Anacortes
AWANA is an international organization with many registered clubs around the world. AWANA stresses Bible memorization of key verses from Scripture. The memory work is designed to establish a personal relationship between the clubber and Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of their lives. AWANA also helps to build up the clubber in Bible knowledge, instilling in them a love and respect for God and His Word.
AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed which is taken from II Timothy 2:15.
The AWANA program runs from the third Wednesday in September through the end of April. AWANA is held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:05 and is for all kids ages 3 through 8th grade.
When dropping off your children at the church, use any of the main entrances. Clubbers will remain in the building until picked up by their parents. When picking up your children, please come inside to get them. This will ensure their safety. Please be watchful of other children when backing out of the parking areas.
